modes of transportation, the implementation of technologies, and the renewal of the bus fleet to

Creation of a public bike rental system, which is common for 31 communes creating GZM
metropolitan area. Thanks 7000 bicycles and 924 rental stations (to be grown up in future) city
bicycles are a much more efficient means of transport for short and medium distances than
individual cars.

The Rourkela Cold Room Project includes five solar-powered cold rooms managed by Women’s Self-
Help Groups under the Rourkela Municipal Corporation. These facilities help farmers and vendors store vegetables and fruits, reducing food wastage and enhancing their income.

The Digaê! was an innovative experience in public management by the Government of Alagoas,
involving the youth from the grotas (favelas) of Maceió. It was based on the stories, struggles, and
experiences of these areas, with a focus on spreading a perspective from within the grotas about
themselves.

HousingNowTO is an affordable housing development tracking and transparency project that
monitors progress on government-sponsored projects in Toronto since 2019. It removes industry
jargon, thereby minimizing misinformation and enhancing transparency and opportunities for
genuine civic engagement.
Regenerating Barcelona (RegBCN)

Constraula, Barcelona, Spain
RegBCN, developed by Constraula and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, won the Barcelona City Council and Bit Habitat urban challenge. It enhances habitability, comfort, and energy efficiency in city buildings, while protecting and expanding homes and communal spaces.
